Saman water lubricated screw air compressor is a series of oil-free air compressors that use water as a lubricant, fundamentally solving the pollution problem that lubricating oil may cause to the environment. Compared to other oil-free air compressors, it has the advantages of simple structure, compactness, low speed, low vibration and noise, low exhaust temperature, high thermal efficiency, stable and reliable performance, and low specific power. It is the development trend of new oil-free compressors.

Its working principle is to continuously inject lubricating water into the compression chamber and bearings through the pressure difference generated by the compressor itself during the compression process. This design has the following characteristics:

The injected lubricating water can form a water film with a certain stiffness between the rotor, star wheel, and casing, and the star wheel is directly driven by the main rotor. Lubricating water directly lubricates the graphite bearings at both ends of the star wheel.

The injected lubricating water can achieve an airtight effect, which is superior to that of a typical dry screw compressor.

Lubricating water can absorb a large amount of compression heat, improve compression efficiency, and avoid the possibility of friction or jamming between the rotor, star wheel, and casing due to different thermal expansion coefficients.

Lubricating water can also reduce the noise generated by high-frequency compression.

Saman Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. uses pure water suitable for Qinyong standard for water lubricated air compressors, and the component materials used are standard grades 304 and 316 stainless steel.

SKF water lubricated special bearings, directly lubricated with water, have excellent oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and good lubrication performance.

The system uses purified water that is suitable for the standard usage, and the water circulates continuously in the system. Every 200 hours, the system automatically changes the water to ensure that the calcium content in the water remains stable at a low value, and the operating temperature of the host is not higher than 50 degrees, so there is no risk of scaling.

After air compression, its water content has reached saturation. The water content of compressed air is only related to temperature and has nothing to do with anything else. The compressed air temperature generated by water lubricated units is not higher than 50 degrees, and its water content is in a saturated state at 50 degrees. Due to the exhaust temperature of other types of compressors being higher than 50 degrees, the water content of compressed air in water lubricated units is lower than that of other types of compressors.
